As for disputing, well, nothing to stop you from trying it, but there's no valid reason for them to grant the extension in this case. So outside of a demand by her (followed by a 'you realize this will almost certainly fail and will greatly increase my bill' speech), I doubt very much that I'll file one. Yeah, she’s definitely not going to be happy, but like I said, not as if I haven’t personally warned her every year of this very thing.
