Obviously it would violate the TOS to use both. I think I may have found a way to circumvent the whole comments issue, yet my main blog is monetized only slightly through Adsense (I talk about too many subjects, and non of those are huge money makers). Since I feature a lot of pictorials on my blog. my new idea is to post about 3 pictures in the blog entry, and then a link to the rest of the pictures which are in a forum entry. People can comment in the forum until their heads pop. Won't hurt any contextual ads on my site. Doesn't really help me a lot (except for driving traffic to my forum) but it may help you.
