crap_I_just_don’t_need.txt

I’m good at making [tag]lists[/tag]. I’ve got tons of lists. I’ve got a (long!) list of things that need doing at the new house. I’ve got a list of clients that need to be contacted regularly or they’ll never bring in their paperwork. I’ve got several lists of books that I’d like to get, broken down into several categories (I’m a bit of a book whore!). I’ve got a list of lists. OK, maybe not that last one… ;)

I probably have too many lists.

But here’s one I think I’ll add, one for all that rampant [tag]consumerism[/tag] rolling around in my brain: a crap_I_just_don’t_need.txt list. Got something you’re desiring continually pop into your head? Throw it in your crap_I_just_don’t_need list, get it out of your head, and get back to what you need to be doing. And every now and then, go through your crap_I_just_don’t_need list, and feel good seeing what hasn’t been wasted on [tag]impulse buying[/tag]… :)

  • Yeah, I'm huge on making lists, because it gets all that, well, stuff out of my head so I can focus on what I should be. Some of my friends think I'm a bit odd because I always have a little notebook on me... :)
  • haha...I always poke fun at my friend because he's a crazy list maker...everything has a list...It's all in fun though, I think it's a great tool.
  • As a chronic listmaker, I LOVED this post you made! I'm trying really hard to cut back on my spending and simplify in order to reduce debt. :) Your blog is pretty inspirational. I'll be back!

    Take care,
    Christina
