A Dream Conversation With a CSR

The Alpha John likes Chase just about as much as I like MBNA. He just wrote of a conversation with Chase customer service representative that just about anyone who has suffered through dealing with even the smallest problem with a credit card company has dreamt about: “Alright. Are you authorized to close my account? Because that is who I need to speak to right now.

Now, that isn’t the choicest quote from his conversation (check out his writeup for a line or two of some more colorful language), so be forewarned that a little coffee may end up on your keyboard by the end of the article… ;)

And, of course, we’ve got to have the obligatory “but think of your credit rating” comment from Anonymous. Sometimes it’s worth it to let the ol’ credit rating take a hit.
