About Irregular Payments & It’s Author

Irregular Payments is a personal finance blog. The writer — namely me, Sean — is not a financial professional, and as such readers should not make any important decisions based on the information I publish here alone. If you want solid financial advice, it might help to seek out a trained financial adviser. Or it might not, which is one of those things I bring up now and again… :)

Enjoying a little wildness!

Sean created Irregular Payments in early 2005 as a way to hold himself accountable for the state and progress of his and his families finances. At that point in time, that state could best be described as poor. And got worse for some time as he took on even more debt with his family’s first home.

Along the way, we learned a few things. And we find ourselves here, five years later as of this writing in early 2010, our only remaining debt being an easily managed mortgage. And that is on the chopping block as well, with me at least wanting it gone pretty much immediately if the funds would happen to land in my lap! ;)
